Christoph Maitland is an award winning House DJ, music producer and show runner in Victoria, Canada for the last 24 years. He first gained popularity in the early 2000s through his obsessive track selection, his ability to excite dance floors and an arsenal of seamless mixing and DJ tricks. He went on to become weekend resident at Hush, a Canadian underground institution from 2002 - 2014 where he shared stages with the biggest DJs in electronic music like Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco, DJ Dan, Hatiras, Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, Dylan Rhymes, Meat Katie and many more. 

As a music producer his releases debuted in 2008 on Canadian breakbeat guru Myagi's Pop & Lock imprint. 
His diverse releases charted in the Beatport Top 100 of breaks, electro house and progressive house, and were supported by Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1, Christopher Lawrence at Burning man, and his single Fall Silently with Toby Emerson was made the demo song of DAW FL Studio 9.

2024 marking his quarter century as being an electronic artist, he debuts his first full length album and return to music production. "There's A Light" takes inspiration from artists and songs that inspired him such as: Oliver, Daft Punk, Purple Disco Machine, Miguel Migs, Johnny Fiasco, Sasha, Bob Moses, Subliminal Records, Fort Knox Five, Deadmau5, & Dubfire. Not to be one to be limited by genre, the album spans House, Nu Disco, Deep House, Melodic House, Liquid Drum & Bass and Electronica. 

In addition, There's A Light has an accompanying remix album featuring 15 Canadian producers, in a showcase of all Western Canadian talent featuring: DJ Soo, Jon Delerious, Rennie Foster, Joel West, JGarrett, Michael Beggs, Dark Arps, Byegas, Riddim Fernandez, Fungus Humungus, RAFH, Warehouse Party, EM.ASH, Phrase and Rick Logic.
